Costs for child care have gone up over 100% in Georgia, Louisiana, Florida and Ohio during the COVID-19 pandemic and they're up in pretty much every state. In fact, a year of daycare in about 40 states now costs more than a year of my in-state college tuition back in the 1990s. Ouch.
