Good morning and Happy Friday! This is Betty Lin-Fisher with Friday's consumer-focused edition of The Daily Money.

The Perez family didn't think about not having cell and internet service on their cruise to the Bahamas until they boarded the ship in Miami.

But Jessica Perez and her husband decided against buying the Wi-Fi package for themselves and their 11- and 17-year old kids.

The family enjoyed being unplugged from their electronics. Others who have stayed off their electronics during vacation have also enjoyed the benefits.

Dinner and a free meal?

Members of Gen Z, who are struggling as they're repaying student loans and worried about job security, are carrying their financial anxiety into their dating lives.
