For value-minded consumers, used cars are generally considered a better deal than new cars. Does the new Trump tax break change that equation? 

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act promises "No Tax on Car Loan Interest." It's one of several novel tax cuts in the new law.  

More health savings accounts coming

Starting next year, more people than ever will have access to a powerful savings tool.

Thanks to new provisions in President Donald Trump's recently signed tax and spending law, more people will be able to benefit from the triple tax-advantaged health savings account, or HSA, experts say.

Inflation? Not in the cannabis market.

Everything seems to cost more these days – except one fragrant, nebulously legal recreational product. 

The price for an ounce of cannabis in Massachusetts plunged from $394 in 2020 to $145 in 2024, according to an analysis by the trade publication Cannabis Business Times. An ounce of weed in Michigan cost $84 in 2024, down from $419 in 2020. Maine prices dropped from $449 to $206.
