Have you heard of financial flexing?

More members of Gen Z are doing this – often posting on social media about living in luxury high rises, dining at expensive restaurants and jetting to pricey destinations. But this pressure to fake it to fit in is hurting their finances, reports Rachel Hale.

A new nationwide study from Credit One Bank found that more than half of Gen Z admit to lying or exaggerating about their financial successes online.

Maui continues move to eliminate short-term rentals

It may be harder in the future to rent an AirBnb or VRBO in Maui.

The County Council for the second-most visited Hawaiian island approved the first reading of proposed legislation that would gradually phase out thousands of short-term vacation rentals in several apartment-zoned districts. If approved, the phase-outs could happen by 2029 and 2030, reports Kathleen Wong.
