The protein-rich food to help you live longerLiving longer doesn’t come down to eating just one food. But if it did, fish consumption would be at (or near) the top.
A study of nearly 91,000 Japanese adults found that moderate fish and shellfish intake was associated with a lower risk of premature death.
- Women who ate moderate amounts of fish and shellfish had an 8% lower risk of death compared to those with the lowest intake.
- Eating more omega-3-rich fish was also associated with lower risks of all-cause and cerebrovascular disease (conditions that affect blood flow to the brain) and mortality in women.
- Among men, higher intake of unsalted fish and shellfish was associated with a 16–23% lower risk of death from cerebrovascular disease.
The greatest longevity-benefits of fish and shell-fish intake were seen at about 7 servings per week.
- Up your intake by always having seafood in your freezer, utilize tinned fish (like sardines) for snacks, and don’t sleep on canned salmon for lunchtime salads.

You're not tired. Your cells are. |
|
 |
Feeling more fatigued than you used to? It's not always just a busy schedule. Your cells are slowing down.
Every cell relies on NAD+ (a coenzyme) to produce energy and support cellular repair.* But by your 40s, levels can be half what they were in your 20s.¹
Occasional fatigue, brain fog, and disrupted sleep are signs of low NAD+ levels.
That’s where Shed can help. The online platform delivers provider-prescribed NAD+ to your door.
How it works:
- Complete a quick online assessment in 5 minutes
- A licensed provider reviews and prescribes if you're a fit
- Save $100 off your first month with code LNGGMSHD100
