Americans could see major changes to Medicaid, food stamps, border security and taxes under a sweeping Republican bill that passed the U.S. House early today.

The proposal, which President Donald Trump  has dubbed the "big, beautiful bill," passed the House 215-214, with all Democrats and two Republicans voting against it after a marathon all-night debate.

Will America's retirement age keep rising?

The average retirement age of American workers is creeping steadily up, according to a new report from a prominent economist. 

Over the past three decades, the average retirement age has risen by about three years, economist Alicia Munnell reports in an April research brief. The typical retirement age in 2024 was 64 for men, 62 for women. 

And that trend invites a question: When will America's retirement age stop rising

Which retailers are raising prices over tariffs?

Retailers responsible for several of America's go-to shopping destinations are among a growing chorus of companies warning that prices may be going up because of the Trump administration's tariff hikes.
