That's a question 45 million federal student loan borrowers may be asking. The Trump administration is considering selling part of the federal government's $1.6 trillion student loan portfolio  to the private market.

Stalemate in Congress could leave millions uninsured

For months, as the expiration of health insurance subsidies loomed, state health insurance commissioners warned Congress that millions of middle-class Americans were likely to see their insurance premiums double or triple.

Now, Washington is at a stalemate and the government has closed. Without action, millions could lose insurance. Who will blink first: the Republicans, or the Democrats?
