Pain from the longest government shutdown in U.S. history is spreading, with thousands of flights cut or delayed at 40 major airports across the country starting on Nov. 7.
Meanwhile, SNAP benefits for millions of Americans remain in limbo. No one knows how much they will get this month, if any at all.
The Trump administration said it would comply with judge orders to fund SNAP with emergency funds but warned it could take days or weeks to get the money out, and it may only be half to 65% of benefits. But a federal judge in Rhode Island said the administration had to fund November SNAP benefits fully by Nov. 7. Vice President JD Vance snapped back saying the decision was "absurd." The administration said it's appealing the ruling.
